Rotor for spring-applied brake Intorq BFK458-16 AL WR low-wear

The INTORQ BFK458 brake is an electrically releasable spring-applied brake with a rotating braking disk (rotor) equipped with friction linings on both sides.

In a de-energized state, the rotor is stretched between the armature plate and a counter-friction face by a normal brake force produced by pressure springs. 

The low-wear rotor has a harder brake lining and can therefore perform more friction work before it has to be replaced.
